Chief Executive Officer (0.6 FTE)

Location: Oadby, Leicestershire. Oak Trust is a local partnership of academies in south Leicestershire

Salary: Circa £90K pro rata (Local Government Pay & Conditions)

Flexible start date.

Oak Trust was formally established in April 2018 and consists of one secondary school, two primary schools, one junior school, one infant and two pre-schools.

We have over 2,500 pupils, approximately 427 staff and an annual income of over £12 million.

We are now seeking an exceptional individual to join us as Chief Executive Officer to lead the Trust towards the next stage of its development.

Working closely with our Board of Trustees and in partnership with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will set the Trust’s strategic direction for the next five years and lead our academies to deliver strong and improving outcomes and outstanding provision.

You will ensure that we continue to pursue our aim of enhancing the educational experience of children in the community and to become a centre of educational excellence and innovation within the area.

You will be an inspirational leader who can wholeheartedly embrace the vision and values of Oak Trust and will empower others to do the same.

With a highly collaborative approach, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the determination to make a positive difference, you will have a track record of delivering a strategic vision that drives a culture of continuous improvement and ensures the highest possible achievement for all.

You will be highly accomplished at developing professional networks and partnerships, have a clear understanding of the current education landscape, strong financial acumen and proven ability to manage risk effectively.
